Beaches in Marsh Harbour

In truth, Marsh Harbour's beaches are the least popular among swimmers and watersports enthusiasts.  Sailing and fishing are much more desired pastimes here.  There are three private beaches that are only for guests of the hotels that are set upon them, but most people will recommend that those looking for a good beach with easy access head south of Little Harbour instead.

The Area's Beaches

You will find several beaches to consider visiting in and around the area. Snorkeling is available at some locations, for visitors who enjoy the underwater scene. Click on the beach names for more detail concerning that beach.

Tahiti Beach

Tahiti Beach: Located at the far end of Elbow Cay Island, Tahiti Beach is a secluded shoreline with cool blue waters and sugary white sands.

A second option for beach-goers to consider is Garabonzo Beach. While not one of the most popular beaches in the Bahamas, Garabonzo Beach is known as a great surfing spot for surfers who find themselves on Elbow Cay.

Snake Cay: Snake Cay is accessible via a bridge from Great Abaco Island.
