In truth, Marsh Harbour's beaches are the least popular among swimmers and watersports enthusiasts. Sailing and fishing are much more desired pastimes here. There are three private beaches that are only for guests of the hotels that are set upon them, but most people will recommend that those looking for a good beach with easy access head south of Little Harbour instead.
There are several beaches to enjoy in and around the area. Snorkeling is an option at some of these beaches, if some members of your party enjoy the underwater scene. To get full details a single beach just click on the names of the ones you would like to learn about
Tahiti Beach: The waters here are popular with sail-boaters, and the isolated beach is fantastically quiet and romantic. You can't drive here, so expect some time alone away from the crowds.
Another location for beach-goers to consider is Garabonzo Beach. While not one of the most popular beaches in the Bahamas, Garabonzo Beach is known as a great surfing spot for surfers who find themselves on Elbow Cay.
Snake Cay: Snake Cay is accessible via a bridge from Great Abaco Island.
