Serving mostly the resorts and villas in the area, Anse l'Entang is often busy with tourist and locals from the nearby villages.
Situated toward the center of the island of Martinique, 6.4 miles north-northeast of Le Robert, Anse l'Entang is on the North East edge of the island, You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying nearby. Families and groups of friends who decide to check out this beach will be able to escape the city's bustle without having to wander too far from civilization.
Drivers can simply follow Highway D-2 to the East, and break off at Rue de la Plage.
While the beach is located very close to several accommodations, it is also in a more natural portion of the island, meaning that visitors will be seeing more palm trees than beach bars. Anse l'Entang is very close to Sainte Marie, so a trip into the city is a definite option. The closest town is Sainte Marie, which is a neat region that strikes a balance between island tranquility and urbanization. From the coast, Sainte Marie is a car ride off, about six miles (nine and a half kilometers) away.
Whether this spot is full of bodies or practically empty will be influenced by everything from the time of day to the capacity of nearby hotels. You can generally expect to encounter quite a few vacationers who are staying in the area.
