Anse Noire

Known mainly for its black sand and boat dock, Anse Noire receives few visitors. However, it is known that the sea bed her is particularly interesting, so snorkeling and scuba diving is an option.

Positioned on the island of Martinique, 5.6 miles south of Fort de France, Anse Noire is on the South West coast of the island, You should think about stopping by even if you are not staying in the vicinity. The area around the beach is somewhat congested, but this does not, in fact, mean beach to be rather congested, the actual beach will be swarming with people. Rather, you will typically find plenty of places to set up shop.

How to Access The Beach
Visitors can take the dedicated road to the beach called Chemin Rural de L'Anse Dufour. The road will eventually split left and right. Go right and you'll be at the beach in less than a minute.

Amenities and Ambiance

The beach is shrouded by trees and hills, offering quite a bit of privacy from the outside world.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here. Fortunately, the water here is of good snorkeling quality, so bring along some gear if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.
