Anse Tartane

Anse Tartane is a small beach. However, what it is missing in sand it makes up for in waves. The rough water at this beach has put it on the radar of many local and visiting surfers. Not much else is for the beach, as the rough waves can make swimming tough, and even nappers at the far end of the beach can be hit by a wave.

Located on the island of Martinique, 6.9 miles north-northeast of Le Robert, Anse Tartane is on the North East edge of the island, You might want to drop by regardless of whether you are staying particularly close by. It's often said that Anse Tartane is the ideal location for escaping the hustle of Martinique's urban areas. Most other beaches on Martinique offer views of the sea that are just as pretty, but are usually busier because they border some of the area's most popular resorts.

How to Access The Beach
You can reach Anse Tartane by traveling up the aptly named Rue du Surf, right off the Highway D-2.

Amenities and Ambiance

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.

If you usually go for coasts that offer those who visit an idyllic haven, then you may want to try Anse Tartane; it is tucked away within a less urbanized part of Martinique.
