Bambarra Beach

Located on the north shore of Middle Caicos, the shallow waters of Bambarra Beach are framed by tiki huts and a wealth of Casuarina trees that protect from the sun. The beach, which stretched along the coast for several miles, is relatively secluded and rarely sees more than a handful of visitors at a time.

Situated toward the center of the island of Middle Caicos, in the general vicinity of Bambarra, Bambarra Beach is on the North East coast of the island, You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying nearby. Bambarra Beach stands out from other beaches because it's the ideal location for escaping the typical tourist haunts. Other nearby beaches in Turks and Caicos may be just as pretty, but are usually busier since they're right in the thick of tourists' favorite hangouts.

Amenities and Ambiance

The crystalline aquamarine waters remain shallow and calm, so much so that visitors can often wade from the shore to a small island a half a mile off the shore called Pelican Cay. Snorkelers especially enjoy the waters, which are calm and make it easy to explore the few heads of coral that are situated around the pier. Although the sand along the shore appears white and fluffy, it tends to be speckled with bits of coral that make it more rough than powder-soft. Protective shoes are recommended.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. The water in the area is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring your equipment if you want to do some underwater exploration.

If you tend to go for shores that provide a serene enclave, then you should enjoy Bambarra Beach; it's back in a less urbanized area of Middle Caicos.
