Amenities and Ambiance

The crystalline aquamarine waters remain shallow and calm, so much so that visitors can often wade from the shore to a small island a half a mile off the shore called Pelican Cay. Snorkelers especially enjoy the waters, which are calm and make it easy to explore the few heads of coral that are situated around the pier. Although the sand along the shore appears white and fluffy, it tends to be speckled with bits of coral that make it more rough than powder-soft. Protective shoes are recommended.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so grab your equipment if you're looking to see some exciting marine life.

Bambarra Beach offers an angelic and serene retreat, as the location that surrounds the beach is far from urbanized.
