Dead End Beach

Many people find laying back and watching airplanes fly overhead to be an awe inspiring and even relaxing experience. At Dead End Beach, not only will you get to spend your day sun bathing and swimming, but the beach is located so near the airport that you can watch as countless planes land nearby.

Situated on the outskirts of Montego Bay, a mile north of "downtown," Dead End Beach is on the North West coast of Jamaica. You might want even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. If activity and variety isn't your thing, you'll be glad that beaches here are generally pretty quiet. This atmosphere is not for everyone, though. If you seek a fun and active spot, you're more likely to have fun at Dead End Beach, which is closer to all the action.

How to Access The Beach
Dead End Beach is located behind Airport Norwood. Take Norman Manely Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard, and then Kent Avenue. The beach is just beyond Sandals Montego Bay.

Amenities and Ambiance

Dead End Beach is backed by a slightly busy road, and shortly thereafter the airport. This makes the beach itself a thin ribbon of white sand that leads to relatively calm aquamarine waters.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

Be mindful that the region in which Dead End Beach is located is rather congested, so make sure to get a spot!
