Dead End Beach

Many people find laying back and watching airplanes fly overhead to be an awe inspiring and even relaxing experience. At Dead End Beach, not only will you get to spend your day sun bathing and swimming, but the beach is located so near the airport that you can watch as countless planes land nearby.

Located toward the outskirts of Montego Bay, a mile north of the "downtown" area, Dead End Beach is on the North West edge of Jamaica. You might think about stopping by even if you are not staying particularly close by. The beaches found throughout Jamaica tend to be fairly quiet and secluded, but Dead End Beach stands out as a pleasant exception to this rule.

How to Access The Beach
Dead End Beach is located behind Airport Norwood. Take Norman Manely Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard, and then Kent Avenue. The beach is just beyond Sandals Montego Bay.

Amenities and Ambiance

Dead End Beach is backed by a slightly busy road, and shortly thereafter the airport. This makes the beach itself a thin ribbon of white sand that leads to relatively calm aquamarine waters.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

Since Dead End Beach is found in an area that sees many visitors, you'll want to plan accordingly.
