Rastafari Indigenous Village

Rastafari Indigenous Village is a lively cultural center showcasing the Rastafari way of life. This tour provides an exclusive glimpse into the culture and values of these people. Immerse yourself in the spirit of Jamaica by joining a half or full day tour.

This is a warm and welcoming place, with it's inhabitants inviting you to experience their connection to nature, values, and healthy lifestyle. You can meet drum makers who craft by hand with traditional techniques, tour the organic vegetable garden, and learn about the reasons behind their vegan diet. You can even enjoy a meal prepared on site. There is a small craft and jewelry store that you can visit. Towards the end of the tour, you will be sent off with a traditional drum performance and song at the village center.

Each month, the village hosts Irits, an acoustic gathering aimed at celebrating Jamaican heritage by harmonizing food, art, music, and healing. Ital vegan cuisine, local artists, and music is featured throughout the festival. You can experience traditional healing therapies, African dance, and even listen in on some inspiring folklore.

Tours begin at 10 a.m. sharp on Saturday, Tuesday, or Thursday. The village is open to the public until 1 p.m. on these days.
