Despite its name, Ardastra Gardens is actually a full-fledged zoo and conservation area. Guests can explore the jungle habitats of many wild animals, and are even encouraged to bring quarters for the feed stations.

A trip to the zoo is like a walk through the jungle, with furry friends at every turn. Here, you will see over 200 animals that include lemurs, monkeys, and even jaguars. To get even closer to these animals, you can take part in one of the encounters that are included with admission such as the flamingo or Lory Parrot Encounters. Most importantly to the zoo though, they offer a once in a lifetime educational experience on conservation and protection of animals and habitats.
