Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Centre is a boutique zoo and conservation area dedicated to educating guests about its native and non-native animals. Guests can explore the habitats of many wild animals. Guests are also free to leave donations, as Ardastra relies on generous donors to care for the animals.

A trip to the zoo is like a walk through the jungle, with furry and feathered friends at every turn. Here, you will see over 135 animals that include servals, monkeys, capybaras and flamingoes that roam freely. To get even closer to these animals, you can take part in one of the exciting and interactive encounters that are included with admission, such as the Flamingo march and the Lory Parrot feeding. Most importantly to the zoo, they offer unique, once in a lifetime opportunities to learn about conservation and the protection of animals and their habitats.

You can easily reach Ardastra from downtown Nassau by catching a #10 bus that can be found in front of the McDonald's across from the Hilton Hotel. Simply tell the bus driver that you want to stop at Ardastra Gardens. Once you are dropped off (across from Arawak Cay), simply follow the signs for a three minute walk.
