Goodman Beach

A real beach paradise, this popular destination near the center of bustling Nassau is frequented by tourists and locals alike. It has become a favorite spot for joggers and food vendors, and the true Bahamas vibe is capped off by the reggae and calypso music you will hear all along the beach.

Set toward the eastern outskirts of Cable Beach, Goodman Beach is on the North coast of New Providence. You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. Many people find that their favorite beach in the Bahamas is one that is a little off the beaten path, but still has all the major conveniences; Goodman Beach, a somehwat secluded part of the coast, has these qualities.

How to Access The Beach
You can access this beach at a number of spots from West Bay Street as it curves along Goodman Bay on the northern coast of the island.

Amenities and Ambiance

The spectacular aquamarine water make this a perfect place to cool off in the water and the fine white sand begs you yo put down a towel and work on your tan. From the shore, you'll be looking out onto Goodman Bay.

For your convenience, restrooms are available at Goodman Beach.

Still, it is important keep in mind that even though there will be some amenities for you to enjoy while at Goodman Beach, it is located inside an active, busy area. Unless you do not mind crowds, it will be a good motivator to plan ahead and beat the crowds, maybe having your beach visit earlier in the day. If you arrive later, you could risk all those comforts becoming too busy.
