Pirates play a major roll in the history of the Caribbean, and the Bahamas are no exception. Now, in the heart of downtown Nassau, board a replica pirate ship and be transported back to 1716, where you'll see how the life of a pirate transpired.


Learn what made Nassau a perfect pirate hangout during the early 1700's and gain a new perspective on the city. Don't forget to visit their onsite restaurant, Smugglers Cafe, where fresh conch salad is prepared each day. They serve breakfast and lunch daily, while dinner is offered Thursday - Saturday.

Location and What's Nearby

There is a modest selection convenient alfresco enterprises to partake in during the times when you and your party aren't touring Pirates of Nassau. Travelers who will enjoy showing their skills around the course, can do so at the nearest golfing option, which is Royal Blue. If golfing isn't your thing, consider going over to Western Esplanade Beach, the closest beach. Though the selection isn't overly extensive, one or two other similar outdoor possibilities to choose from nearby. Guests will also find multiple other interesting places to get away from the sun within a reasonable distance. You'll find a couple of spots worth checking out -Balcony House Museum and Pompey Museum- both of which are situated within just a couple miles of the museum.


Operating Hours

Monday through Saturday, you can visit between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, they are open between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The cost of admission is $13.50 for adults and $6.75 for children between the ages of 4 and 17. All prices are in USD and include VAT.
