Pompey Museum

This museum is dedicated to telling the story of the African experience in the Bahamas and occupies a building where slaves were once bought and sold.

Outdoor amusements like golfing and beach-going are also enjoyed by many in the region. Visitors interested in testing their skillfulness around the course, might want to do so at the most convenient option, which is Royal Blue. Operating Hours

Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am- 4:30 pm are touring hours, except Thursdays, when they close at 1:00 pm. They are not open Sundays or holidays.

Payment

There is a very small admission fee to get into the museum, though ages five and under get in free.
