A tremendously popular beach mainly due to its close proximity to and easy access from Nassau's busy downtown, this has become a favorite stop for many spring breakers. With snack bars and restaurants close by, and reggae music booming from the speakers, this can be a fun place to hang out for a few hours, particularly if you're already in the area.

Located on the outer parts of Nassau, a quarter mile west-northwest of downtown, Western Esplanade Beach is on the North East edge of New Providence. You should think about stopping by whether or not you are staying very close. The Bahamas' beaches are known for being calm, pleasant, and quiet.
