Le Vendome Restaurant is the essence of fresh, homemade cuisine. Their own farm produces vegetables, fruits, poultry, and dairy products, all used in their epicurean delights. They also make their own breads, desserts, salad dressings, and ice cream daily. Their menu features Jamaican and French cuisine, reflecting the nationalities of the restaurant's owners.

Top selling appetizers are Shrimp Nature, Assorted Seafood Appetizer and Cheese and Calaloo Souffle, while their best entrees according to sales are the Pork Loin Caribbean Style, Curried Shrimp, Filet of Snapper in Coconut Sauce. For dessert, you won't want to skip the Homemade Ice-Cream and Sorbets with fresh whipped cream and Chocolate Mousse.

Le Vendome Restaurant is a grill that offers French and Jamaican cuisines, as well as desserts. When it comes to the level of formality, the setting here is informal. This location is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, allowing you and your group to try this restaurant almost any time the mood strikes.


The simple décor at Le Vendome is a refreshing change of pace from more upscale restaurants that tend to take things to the extreme. It is the epitome of Caribbean beauty, facing the ocean and their white sandy beach which decorated with beautiful palm trees. At night the restaurant comes alive with teardrop lights and the ambiance is one that seduces the mind and relaxes the soul. Beautifully set tables lend to the overall decor of the restaurant and the outside patio allows for a romantic dining room setting under the stars. There are 20 tables outdoors and 21 in.

Entertainment is provided twice weekly. On Thursdays they have a live Jazz, Blues and Reggae show
and Saturdays they present a Folkloric Songs and Dance show accompanied by African drumming which represents local culture. Entertainment is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.


This restaurant is on the premises of Charela Inn, which is located in Negril Beach Hotel Zone, a neighborhood in the vicinity of Negril; it is two miles (three kilometers) to the north of Negril.

With a group of attractions within reach of the restaurant, allowing tourists to keep busy during their visits. Two of the closest options from this business include Long Bay Beach Park and Barney's Hummingbird Garden, both of which are within a quick trip away.

There are a few nearby outdoor pursuits to fill those sunny days if you have space in your itinerary. Visitors who wouldn't mind showing off on the links will certainly want to check out the nearby popular golf course, Negril Hills Golf Club.
