Le Vendome Restaurant is located at Charela Inn. If you're curious, Negril is two miles (three kilometers) to the south. Though one might say the overall focus is French cuisine, this potential favorite will recommend their best: desserts and seafood. Le Vendome Restaurant is the essence of fresh, homemade cuisine. Their own farm produces vegetables, fruits, poultry, and dairy products, all used in their epicurean delights. They also make their own breads, desserts, salad dressings, and ice cream. Breakfast and lunch feature international choices. At dinner, Jamaican dishes with a French influence is their hallmark. Top selling appetizers are Shrimp Nature, Assorted Seafood Appetizer and Cheese and Calaloo Souffle, while their best entrees according to sales are the Pork Loin Caribbean Style, Curried Shrimp, Filet of Snapper in Coconut Sauce. For dessert, you won't want to skip the Homemade Ice-Cream and Sorbets with fresh whipped cream and Chocolate Mousse.
The Bayside is at 2 Norman Manley Boulevard. It's north of Negril. In addition to French cuisine, this establishment has a menu of Continental dishes, making it a great option for visitors who like to mix it up. The Bayside's buffet offers a range of Jamaican and international dishes.
Caribbean Cafe and Pastry, which is on the premises of Time Square Mall, is located in the southern part of Negril Beach Hotel Zone, a neighborhood in the vicinity of Negril; 1.2 miles to the north-northeast of Negril. This enigmatic eatery can show multiple sides, so yes they're offering French themed dishes and of course coffee, but here they're also masters of desserts. Alfreso seating gives this spot a true French cafe feel.
