Bat Cave

An old terras pit that was mined in the colonial era, Bat Cave is a short, easy hike that allows you to climb down into the cave and view bats that are hanging from the ceiling.

The trail runs parallel to the Mount Nevis Hotel Entrance Road and along the way you'll see the ruins of Cottle Church before reaching the cave. After climbing into the cave and exploring, make time to cross the Island Main Road and follow the trail to the ruins of a sugar mill.
