The Hermitage Plantation Inn Restaurant

Located on the Hermitage Plantation Inn, this restaurant offers guests the chance to travel back to a time when dinner was more than a meal, it was an event. Restaurant director Maureen Lupinacci, who had 30 years in the hospitality industry recently passed the reigns over to her son, Richie Lupinacci, and he knows how to make each meal an occasion to remember.

The cooks at Hermitage come from the nearby villages, the herbs and spices come from the garden, local farmers bring their produce directly to the hotel, and the fish is also delivered, dripping wet, fresh from the sea. The ladies in the kitchen take great pride in their talent and have created a few dishes that are known on Nevis as Hermitage specialties. Local dishes are the core cuisine and are brought to their peak of perfection and variety every Wednesday night at the Caribbean pig roast. It's one of the most popular events on the island.

The Hermitage Plantation Inn Restaurant is a bistro where they proudly serve their take on Caribbean cuisine. As far as the style of dining and food goes, the setting is informal. This location is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so your family can enjoy this option at almost any meal.

The theme of the Hermitage is Plantation Inn dining. The ambiance is casual elegant and set among antiques of a bygone era that celebrate the British Colonial style and history of the island. Guests are greeted and served drinks in the Great House, which is the oldest wooden house on the island, one of the oldest in the Caribbean. Dinner is served on the open veranda overlooking an orchard like setting of fruit trees.

This restaurant is on the premises of Hermitage Plantation, which is located in the western part of Saint George Gingerland Parish, on Nevis; it is 1.8 miles to the east of Charlestown.

Vacationers can combine their restaurant visit with local sightseeing options by checking out one of the many close-by area attractions, like The Flats.

Active travelers will also appreciate the availability of fun activities in the vicinity. Anyone who find themselves anxious to tee off can leisurely practice (or take serious score) at the closest golf club, Four Seasons Golf Course, which is not too far from The Hermitage Plantation Inn Restaurant. Besides your spikes, you might want to bring a bathing suit for Indian Castle Beach, which you will find to be the closest beach and is only two and a half miles away. And still, these two aren't the only options that exist for beaches and golf courses within the region.
