Located on what was once a busy sugar plantation and cotton ginning station, the Nevisian Hertiage Village allows guests to see what life was once like on the island by touring refurbished home sites and gardens.
The homes here date back to the Carib Indian era and though the structures themselves are replicas, inside are antiques and artifacts that truly give guests an idea of what it was like to live here. Structures include a rum shop, the shoe-makers shop, a black-smithy, and private homes.
You may enjoy staying in Saint George Gingerland Parish if you plan on visiting Nevisian Heritage Village, since those visiting this area of St. Kitts will be pleased to have easy access to this museum for the duration of their trip. Although this location isn't home to tremendous numbers of tourists, you'll still find a varied selection of accommodations to pick from.
