Newcastle Beach

Positioned near the heart of Newcastle, Newcastle Beach is on the North coast of Nevis. You might want whether or not you're staying in the immediate vicinity. Travelers who'd like to avoid renting a car will probably like Newcastle Beach. It's within walking distance of so many hotels and activities, and is right in the center of all the daytime activity.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is located right on the western end of the Vance W Amory International Airport. Follow the road around the landing strip where you'll find a parking area.

Amenities and Ambiance

The soft carmel-colored sands of New Castle beach are shaded by lush green coconut trees. This beautiful beach is located at the northernmost tip of the island, next to the Nevis's airport. With a dock jutting out from the island into the channel separating Nevis from St Kitts, you'll see many boaters in the surrounding waters.

Many visitors find themselves ordering a drink or snack from the concessions here, even if they move off-site for lunch. You might also have the option to buy food from one of the mobile vendors who are generally found here.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring along some gear if you want to see the underwater world.

Since Newcastle Beach happens to be found within a tourist hotspot, you might want consider the time when you plan your visit.

The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the North coast of Nevis. It is close to Garner's Estate Loop, which is only a short distance away, so tourists could take a cab or probably walk to this attraction, and it is among the popular spots in the area.

If you're intrigued by St. Kitts' history, there are nearby attractions where you can learn about their culture and traditions. For instance, nearby is Cottle Church Ruins, which is a mile to the south west.
