Grab an ice-cold refreshing cocktail at the Oualie Beach Hotel where you can also rent equipment for watersports, so you can enjoy the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean. Diving and snorkeling are the most popular activities here, but windsurfing, sailing, and kayaking are also available. There is a barbecue with live music hosted here on Tuesday nights.

Situated in Tamarind Bay, 1.9 miles west of Newcastle, Oualie Beach is on the North West coast of Nevis. You might want whether or not you're staying in the immediate vicinity. Though there are a lot of choices to be made on vacation, choosing a suitable beach may be one of the more important things you do. Before you arrive, consider some of St. Kitts' most interesting options, like Oualie Beach.

How to Access The Beach
You can get here directly from St. Kitts. A water taxi will take you right up to the shore of this cove on Nevis's northwestern coast.

Amenities and Ambiance

Oualie Beach can be found just south of Mosquito Bay. The waters here are crystal clear, and lap gently at the beach's beige sands. You can kick back in relax in hammocks or in chairs which are free if you are eating or drinking at the beach bar. There is a small boat anchorage available.

Also, you have the option of trying the restaurant located right on Oualie Beach. There are an assortment of dining options on St. Kitts, but don't think that table-side service and a lengthy menu are necessary to enjoy a tasty meal. Many vacationers like having lunch very close-by. With this in mind, you might ask your hotel if they offer to pack picnic lunches for their guests. Otherwise, street vendors and casual walk-up eateries will have take-out dishes you can bring to the beach.

Lots of visitors here find that the on-site snack bar is just fine for lunch. On some days, it may be possible to order some food from one of the mobile vendors who typically set up at this spot.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so grab some equipment if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites.
