Set at the north end of the Great Bahama Bank, diving the waters that surround New Providence Island is an unforgettable experience.  Dive options range from shallow reefs to drop-offs, and even shipwrecks and dives specifically to see sharks.

If you want to go diving, you can check with Stuart Cove's Diving. Fans of the movie "Flipper" may recognize this place, as in addition to being a fully functioning dive center, it was the set of the movie! You can join them today as they set out on another adventure to the many spots around New Providence that feature diverse and thriving ecosystems. They are located within downtown Nassau.

Another option is Bahama Divers. Bahama Divers can take you to the best diving spots around New Providence. If you do not yet know how to dive, that is not an issue, they have introductory lessons and can train you in all the correct procedures and those who just aren't ready to take the plunge can sign up for snorkeling trips.
