This quiet beach runs along the coast near the Leeward East subdivision. Buffered from the neighborhood by a long patch of interesting, shade-providing trees, this beach has a really nice remote feel to it despite its Nassau locale.
Situated on the eastern coast of the island of New Providence, You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying nearby. This beach is not just another beach attraction, it's one of the rare "quiet" beaches in the Bahamas. While Leeward East Beach might be a little more trouble to reach, visiting this beach instead of a more crowded one could make your experience less stressful.
If you have a rental car, public parking is available at the northern part of the beach, and can be reached from Yamacraw Hill Rd.
The water is relatively shallow and clear, and the sand is a soft white. The twisted mangroves along the beach are a really nice, distinctive feature.
Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site.
If you usually like sunny days that bring visitors an angelic haven, then think about trying out Leeward East Beach; it's hidden away in a much quieter section of New Providence.
Leeward East Beach is always a lovely side-trip when you're in the area. Look for it on the East coast of New Providence; the area hosts attractions such as Airbrush Junkies, which is four and a half miles to the west-northwest.
