There are an abundance of beaches to consider visiting, although they are all located just outside of Noord. Snorkeling is an option at some locations, for visitors who enjoy this relaxing pastime. If you are hoping to go snorkeling, a location where that is an option is Eagle Beach. Recently noted as one of the Top 10 Beaches in the World by Trip Advisor, Eagle Beach is a well-loved family beach where picnics and camping are commonplace. Water sports are popular on Eagle Beach and rental equipment and organized water activities are available to visitors.
Another good option for snorkelers is Malmok Beach. The beach at Malmok is a narrow sandy stretch surrounded by beds of coral up on shore. The water is shallow and among the clearest in Aruba giving perfect swimming and snorkeling conditions.
Boca Catalina: The water is clear and the currents are not very strong. Expect to swim out a couple hundred feet to reach deep enough waters for really good snorkeling.
