Sailing in Aruba is centered around the capital city of . Tourists who have a passion for sailing don't have to forgo an adventure on the high seas just because the port of entry isn't directly in Noord.
As you sail into Aruban waters, head towards the island's west coast where you will find the official port of entry at Barcadera Harbour in Oranjestad. When you sail in you will have to dock your boat for a fee of $10(USD) an hour during the week and $20(USD) on holidays or weekends. You will then first head to the Immigrations office and present them with your passport. They will stamp your immigration paperwork, which you can print from the Port Authority Web site in advance and fill it out to save time, then send you on to customs. Customs will ask you several questions about your vessel and ask to see documentation regarding the ships stores and the last port of entry.
