Instituto De Cultura Puertorriquena is the official museum that houses all things of cultural significance in Puerto Rico, from performance and visual arts to science and history. The institute was created in 1955 with the sole purpose of preserving the culture of the island and continues to do so to this day.

Some visitors determine that it is valuable to become informed about as much surrounding the culture and history of the country they are visiting as is available, and this site supplies that chance. Like a variety of other museums you'll come across, Instituto De Cultura Puertorriquena hosts mainly standard exhibitions, containing the museum's most interesting and relevant exhibits.
