Renaissance Island

This long, thin strip of 40 acres off Aruba's eastern shore is a private island accessible to those staying at the Renaissance Resort & Casino. $75 will also get you access, and the price includes lunch and use of a beach mat. A wide array of water sports are also available, organized by Red Sail Sports.

Set on the island of Aruba, Renaissance Island is on the West coast of the island, You should consider stopping by whether or not you're staying in the immediate vicinity. Although the area isn't crowded with buildings, many tourists choose this beach since it has such a relaxed atmosphere.

How to Access The Beach
If you're not staying at the Renaissance Resort, you can still come to the island for $75. Either way, taking a boat is necessary.

Amenities and Ambiance

The beaches at this tropical retreat are blindingly white, but shade can be found under the many palm trees. Beach volleyball and tennis courts are available on land, while snorkeling, wave-running, kayaking, paddle-boating and more are available off shore. There is also a separate adult beach where toplessness is more than acceptable. Facilities here are top class.

Of course, there is also a restaurant located right on-site. There all types of dining experiences that vacationers can enjoy in Aruba, but eating a delicious meal on the beach can be especially enjoyable. With this in mind, you might ask your hotel if they offer to pack picnic lunches for their guests. Otherwise, there are plenty of walk-up vendors that offer hot, on-the-go food.

There are public restrooms at this beach——something you'll appreciate if you bring the kids along. Additionally, there are lounge chairs available at this destination. You will find the water here is fit for snorkeling, so grab some gear if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.

You should remember that the area right around Renaissance Island is an urban area, meaning you may find many people vying for the use of the same amenities.

You'll find this beach on the West coast of Aruba; this area boasts other attractions such as Casa di Cultura, which is not very far away, so tourists could take a cab or probably walk to this attraction.

If you want to learn more about the history of Aruba, there are nearby attractions where you can learn about their culture and traditions. One of the nearest historical attractions is Fort Zoutman, which is not a great distance from the shore, and is accessible in a taxi or on foot.
