This is a popular spot for boaters, and with the airport nearby, you'll definitely see some planes coming in and out. Though it's not as quiet as some other beaches in Aruba, the interesting beach vibe and nearby nightclub always makes for good people-watching and a fun time.

Situated a quarter mile southeast of downtown Oranjestad, Surfside Beach is on the West coast of Aruba. You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. You may notice that beaches throughout Aruba tend to be pretty quiet, but Surfside Beach stands out as a pleasant exception to this rule.

How to Access The Beach
Located on the southern side of Aruba's capital, Oranjestad, Surfside can be accessed by car, taxi, or public transportation. It is across the street from the Caribbean Town Hotel and might not be easily recognized from the road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Also referred to as Strènd or Klip depending on which strip you're on, Surfside Beach runs along the calm, pleasant waters of Paardenbaai Bay on Aruba's west coast. Palm trees can help you avoid too much sun, and there is plenty of sand for dipping your toes into. Neptali Park is right next to the beach.

Many visitors find themselves ordering a drink or snack from the concessions here, even if they move off-site for lunch.

Whether you're eating lunch or just a snack at, you'll appreciate the available picnic tables.

You won't have to worry about finding a bathroom at Surfside Beach because there are public restrooms. Shower facilities are available here, so you don't have to go back to your hotel sandy. Additionally, lounge chairs are available for use at this spot. You'll find the waters off-shore to be clear enough for snorkeling, so grab some equipment if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.

Remember to take into account that Surfside Beach is in an area which is a popular spot, which means you may find many people vying for the use of the same amenities.
