One of the liveliest spots on the island, Orient Beach often attracts visitors who are willing to try new things – like scuba diving. High intensity diving is not prevalent here, making it a great destination for those who are new to the sport.
There are a couple of dive services and at least 6 interesting dive sites in the area.
If you're looking forward to diving, you might want to check with Scuba Zen. They specialize in making day trips to Tintamarre Island where you can have lunch on the beach. They also have technical diving courses and excursions and courses to train scuba instructors. They are found in Anse Marcel, 2.0 mi. Northwest of central Orient Bay.
