Arawak Beach

On the west coast of Paradise Island is where you'll find the breathtakingly beautiful Arawak Beach, enjoyed primarily by those staying at residences along the western side of Paradise Island Golf Course.

Located on Paradise Island, 3.1 miles east of downtown Nassau, Arawak Beach is on the South East coast of the island, You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. Vacationers who want their beach to have a little bit of everything——a hint of seclusion, with a somewhat social scene—— may really like a visit to Arawak Beach. It's a little bit removed from The Bahamas' urban areas, but it's not quiet or boring either.

How to Access The Beach
Ocean Club Drive takes you through a golf course and into an upscale residential area. At the end of the road is a round-a-bout and from there is a sandy path leading directly to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

The water is rather shallow on this beach which - coupled with the perfectly clear turquoise water - makes for fantastic swimming and snorkeling experiences for people of all ages and abilities. After swimming, lay down a towel in the perfectly white, powdery sand and soak up a few rays.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

Bear in mind that Arawak Beach's location is a bustling area, so plan accordingly.
