Casuarina Beach

Casuarina Beach is a popular spot in Casuarina Bay for a calm day of swimming, sunning, and snorkeling on Paradise Island. Located where the old Club Med used to be, the resort's closing has had no negative effect on the business of the beach.

Located on Paradise Island, near Potters Cay, Casuarina Beach is on the North West edge of the island, You might want whether or not you're staying in the immediate vicinity. If hustle and bustle isn't your style, you'll appreciate that the Bahamas has plenty of secluded beaches. Then again, if you'd rather not visit an empty, untouched part of the coast, you're probably better off visiting Casuarina Beach, one of the few beaches that draws a significant crowd.

How to Access The Beach
Once you arrive on Paradise Island from Nassau, head west passed Sunrise Beach Club and over the Paradise Beach Drive bridge. Follow Paradise Beach Drive until you reach Casuarina Beach. A large parking lot is set behind the beach for your convenience.

Amenities and Ambiance

Stunning pink sands and aquamarine waters typify Casuarina Beach. Just off shore is a patch of reef where visitors can swim with parrotfish and turtles.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring your equipment if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites.
