You don't need to be hunting for buried treasure or wearing an eye patch to enjoy a day at Pirates Cove Beach. Instead, this is a popular spot on the small Staniel Cay for hiking and sunbathing.
Located near the center of Paradise Island, close to Potters Cay, Pirates Cove Beach is on the South West coast of the island, You should consider stopping by even if you are not staying in the immediate vicinity. Pirates Cove Beach stands out from other beaches because it's the ideal location for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Many of the other beaches in the Bahamas may be just as beautiful, but are usually more crowded because they're lined with some of the most famous hotels and restaurants.
Looking down from the limestone cliff that shelters Pirates Cove you will see topaz lagoons that dot the white sands, and similarly colored waves crashing up against the rocks.

Still, you should remember that while you will be able to find at least one or two conveniences (BLANK) at Pirates Cove Beach, it will be located within an area popular for visitors. With that in mind, if you feel that the amenities affect whether you'll visit, it will be a good motivator to show up in the morning before the crowds fill up or go to a different beach further away. Otherwise, you might risk all those comforts becoming too busy.
You'll find this beach on the South West coast of New Providence. It is near some interesting sites like, which is only a short distance away. Visitors will have the option to take a taxi or to walk, and it is one of a number of attractions in the vicinity.
Historical attractions like Cloisters provide a great compliment to the natural beauty of Pirates Cove Beach, and they give vacationers the chance to learn more about the Bahamas, without having to leave the coast. In fact, this shore is a mile to the east-southeast of this place of historical interest.
