Pirates Cove Beach

You don't need to be hunting for buried treasure or wearing an eye patch to enjoy a day at Pirates Cove Beach. Instead, this is a popular spot on the small Staniel Cay for hiking and sunbathing.

Located near the center of Paradise Island, close to Potters Cay, Pirates Cove Beach is on the South West coast of the island, You should consider stopping by even if you are not staying in the immediate vicinity. Pirates Cove Beach stands out from other beaches because it's the ideal location for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Many of the other beaches in the Bahamas may be just as beautiful, but are usually more crowded because they're lined with some of the most famous hotels and restaurants.

Amenities and Ambiance

Looking down from the limestone cliff that shelters Pirates Cove you will see topaz lagoons that dot the white sands, and similarly colored waves crashing up against the rocks.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Fortunately, umbrellas and chairs will be available for use to guests hoping for a place to relax in the shade.

Still, you should remember that while you will be able to find at least one or two conveniences (BLANK) at Pirates Cove Beach, it will be located within an area popular for visitors. With that in mind, if you feel that the amenities affect whether you'll visit, it will be a good motivator to show up in the morning before the crowds fill up or go to a different beach further away. Otherwise, you might risk all those comforts becoming too busy.
