Monkeys are a favorite at the St. Maarten Zoo, but other exhibited animals include birds and a host of mammals. The reptile and bat houses are not only educational, but a welcome reprieve from the hot sun, and a petting zoo is beloved by children of all ages.

Also on property is the Captain Hodges Playground, which is shaped like a pirate ship and is a fun spot for kids to get their energy out.
