Offerings and Cost

Each tour has been created with the goal of exposing tourists to the wonderful culinary world of Belize. They offer a Chocolate Tour, coffee tasting on the beach, and even culinary island hopping adventures.

The Ixcacao Chocolate Tour is a hands on exploration of the chocolate factory yard, full of educational and historical story telling. You can view cacao growing on trees and sample some yourself. There is also the opportunity to discover the art of chocolate making.

Visit the Belize Spice Farm which hosts cardamom, vanilla, allspice, nutmeg, and black pepper plants which you will be invited to taste. At the end of the tour, you will be offered a fire hearth cooked lunch with a local Mayan family, in their home.

The Maya Firehearth Cooking option is a way to really dive into authentic local cuisine. While joining a Kekchi Maya family in Indian Creek, you will learn all about Maya cuisine. The Coc sisters with teach you how to make a corn tortilla or palm heart to cook over the hearth. You can also just join to watch the action.

The Ixcacao Chocolate Tour costs $100 per person. The Belize Spice Farm tour costs $80 per person. Maya Firehearth Cooking lessons cost $80 per person.

Park entry fees, transportation, guides, water, and activity fees are all included in your ticket price. Currently, they only accept cash. All prices are in USD and include tax.

Hours and Policies

The Ixcacao Chocolate Tour departs at 8 am or 10 am, Maya Firehearth Cooking lessons depart at 8:30 am, and the Belize Spice Farm tour departs at 9 am or 11 am.
