The course features an abundance of water hazards, which factor into all but three of the eighteen holes. When making its way closer to the ocean, the course is lined by sand dunes and distinctive mangroves. Further inland, it winds through a dense tropical jungle. Such dramatic changes in the landscape is the why its aptly been named El Camaleon (the chameleon). Golfers of all ages and abilities will be able to enjoy this picturesque course.

The course is open daily from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.Golfers can expect this to be a contemporary, fairly new course. It was built in 2004. The layout, hole placement, and practice areas were created by Greg Norman, the lead architect of the course. They have 18 holes here, and they stretch out a total distance of 7024 yards.
The course is situated on the Caribbean coast across from Cozumel. Fairways are bordered by water at times, thick forest at others, and occasionally by the resorts around which it makes its home. Two breathtaking holes take golfers right up to the ocean. Subterranean caves and sparkling lagoons are prominent features elsewhere.
