La Vagabunda

La Vagabunda is owned by a family from Marina di Massa, Toscana, Italy with almost half a century of experience in the restaurant industry. After vacationing in Playa del Carmen, they fell in love with the place, and decided to bring the family business to Mexico. Today, it is one of the more popular places to dine on the island.


The menu at La Vagabunda features a blend of Mexican and Italian fare, and a number of vegetarian offerings are also available.

La Vagabunda is a grill that serves Italian and Mexican dishes. The formality of the menu and service to expect from this restaurant is very casual. Diners are welcome to come by to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, allowing you and your group to try this restaurant almost any time the mood strikes.

Any golfing guests who visit the area should consider reserving a tee time at the neighborhood golf course, Playacar Golf Course, which is located not too far from La Vagabunda. Or sometime during your visit you might want to chill out at El Faro, which you will find to be the nearest beach and is only a half mile away. Elsewhere in the vicinity, you will find other beaches and at least one more golf course, for sunny days that beg for non-stop time outdoors.
