Only accessible from the beach or through the hotel with which it is associated, this dive center has everything you need to become a fully certified diver and get out on the water to enjoy local sites which include reefs and cenotes.
This center became a PADI Dive Center and Resort in 2009 and has continued to grow ever since, offering daily training courses and several open water dives. They can also assist you in participating in other watersports including kayaking, sailing, and zipping around on waverunners.
Your first step in diving with Reef Marina is to take the Discover Scuba Diving Course for $125(USD) which includes two dives. When that is complete, you can return later in your vacation and dive for anywhere from $60 to $125(USD) depending on the location and number of tanks. There are also specialty packages you can sign up for, and discounted rates available for booking via the Internet.
If you wish to further your training, the cost will be $245 for Scuba Diver, $420 for Open Water, $345 for Advanced Open Water, $150 for Emergancy First Response, $360 for Rescue Diver and $700(USD) for Divemaster. E-learning and Referral courses are also available.
