Below the surface of the waters that surround Playa del Carmen is a whole new world that few people get the chance to explore. Scuba Libre offers everyone the chance by first training them to do so safely, then taking them out on open water dives to see the magnificent underwater sites.
Regular trips are offered by this operation to such site as Chun-Zumbul, Moc-Che Deep, Cueva, Los Arcos, Cerebros, Tortuga, and more. Morning dive are for the experienced divers, afternoon dives are better for new divers, and specialty dives take guest to cenotes, to swim with the sharks, and even to other cities in the region.
A two tank dive with this center is $79, and a one tank night dive is $60(USD). For the truly adventurous, you can sign up for a two tank dive with bull sharks for $109(USD). There are also several package deals that account for several days worth of dives and help to save you money.
For first time divers, Scuba Libra offers the Discover Scuba course in the pool with the inclusion of one open water dive for $120(USD). From there you can advance your training with Scuba Diver for $285 through Dive Master for $1,050(USD).
