The second of two Studio Blue Dive Shops in Mexico, this location opened in 1995 after much success at the one on Cozumel. This center shies away from large groups, only offering dives for less than six people at once, and all of the staff is certified bilingual. Languages spoken by the team include English, Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, Swedish, and Mayan.
Free to new divers is the introductory Discover Scuba Diving Resort Course in the on-site pool. From there, you can advance your knowledge and training with a number of free PADI Certification Courses all the way through Master Diver.
In addition to educational offerings, Studio Blue Dives at least twice a day. Morning dives run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., afternoon dives are from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and night dives are from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Studio Blue Carmen is located in downtown Playa del Carmen.
