While music may not be the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of Puerto Rico, the fact is that the island has developed a unique musical culture that is separate from the rest of the Caribbean. The mix of Caribbean, African, Native, Spanish, and American musical tradition have helped shape Puerto Rico's, independent musical culture.

5 | Parque De Bombas
Originally built for the 1882 Exhibition Trade Fair, Parque de Bombas was later turned into the first fire station in Puerto Rico. It served that same purpose for over 100 years, when it was decommissioned in 1990 and later turned into a museum honoring the history of firefighting in Puerto Rico.
