Natural Attractions in Ponce

Not far off from a state forest reserve, Ponce has a few natural attractions of its own to promote days spent outdoors in which beaches are not involved.  The topography of the town ranges from coastal plains to verdant mountains with 12 rivers and numerous springs providing green space and breathtaking waterways.

Bosque Estatal De Cerrillos is a nature preserve located within Puerto Rico, North-Northeast of Ponce. Focused around the lake and dam, Bosque Estatal de Cerrillos, (Cerrillos State Forest) offers guests various activities involving the lake and the small forest surrounding it.
