Folly Ruins Beach

This beach sits next to the ruins of an old mansion, built in 1905 and now crumbling away. These are the "Folly Ruins" that the beach takes its name from. The shell of the structure is still there and its fun to investigate.

Set in the eastern outskirts of Port Antonio, Folly Ruins Beach is on the East coast of Jamaica. You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. Jamaica's beaches are pretty busy for the most part, but you'll find Folly Ruins Beach to be a little calmer than most, making it just the right spot for vacationers who'd like a less hectic scene, but one that's not completely empty.
