Folly Ruins Beach

This beach sits next to the ruins of an old mansion, built in 1905 and now crumbling away. These are the "Folly Ruins" that the beach takes its name from. The shell of the structure is still there and its fun to investigate.

Set toward the eastern outskirts of Port Antonio, Folly Ruins Beach is on the East coast of Jamaica. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby. Many of the beaches in Jamaica are quiet and secluded, but the ambiance at Folly Ruins Beach is one of both seclusion and activity; this means you can relax without having to travel too far from the buzz of the city.
