Food

Breakfast is served buffet style with all of your favorites including eggs, sausage, bacon, and home fries. An a la carte breakfast menu is available as well. Dinner has a regular grill menu, but on Sunday nights they also have bonefire where they serve ribs, baked chicken, coconut Johnny cake, coconut peas 'n' rice, corn on the cob, cole slaw, and a variety of drinks.

Among other things, Taino By the Sea specializes in seafood with Caribbean twists. Most guests consider the level of formality and service here to be very casual. When's the best time to come? They're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so your family can try this restaurant almost any time the mood strikes.

Location

Set three miles east-southeast of downtown Freeport, Taino By the Sea is on the premises of Flamingo Bay Hotel and Marina.

If you would like to merge your restaurant visit with some excellent sightseeing opportunities, you'll find a handful notable things to see and do within close proximity, like Museum Of Underwater Exploration.

Many travelers also anticipate the availability of fun activities found about the area. Guests eager to get in a few good swings could plan ahead to play a round at this restaurant's closest located golf course, Lucayan Golf Course, which is not too far from Taino By the Sea. Though some guests will better enjoy a morning at Taino Beach, which you will find to be the nearest beach and is only a couple hundred yards away. Keep in mind those two are only some of the beaches, golf courses, and outdoor sports within the region.

If you're hoping to find another place to eat that has similar types of food or comparable prices, there is no shortage of nearby places to choose from, including Tony Macaroni's Conch Experience. Guests can find it a couple hundred yards from Taino By the Sea.

But then again, if you're looking for something different, this part of Grand Bahama Island provides an excellent range of restaurants that will satisfy almost every type of diner. For instance, you might also enjoy another type of food at a close by area restaurant, like Flying Fish Modern Seafood, which is a half mile west-southwest.

If you're interested in participating in the Sunday Bonfire, it is $50(USD) per person.

Taino By the Sea accepts most major credit cards.

Breakfast is from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., lunch is from noon to 4:00 p.m., and dinner is from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m., except for on Sunday when the bonfire begins at 6:00 p.m. and goes until everyone is done for the night.
