Apsara

Unlike many of the Indian restaurants on the island, Apsara returns faithfully to the authentic Indian cuisine from India, as opposed to the Trinidad adaptation. It is interesting to experience the subtle differences and to see where the local cuisine came from.

Food

Apsara offers a huge selection of dishes from their menu, so it is best to ask for suggestions! These Indian culinary dishes are sure to delight many guests from the vegetarians to the meat eaters. You can revel in the variety of spices reminiscent of Indian dishes like curry, cloves, and cinnamon. The restaurant smells as good as the food tastes with such choices like the tandoori dishes, lamb, and seafood.

Apsara has a focus on ever-popular Indian cuisine that sets a standard for the area. This eatery is open for both dinner and lunch, so give it a try.

Ambiance

Beautiful artwork by a local painter graces the restaurant walls and depicts the artist's interpretation of modern Moghul works of art. Terra cotta décor is classy and contemporary while projecting both an inviting and warm feeling. With the heavenly exotic aroma of authentic Indian food, your mouth will be watering in anticipation of the meal to come.

Location

Apsara is located in downtown Port of Spain.

This section of Trinidad has a spread of popular attractions, making it a relatively exciting town. Two of the closest visitor favorites from the restaurant include Hayes Court and National Museum & Art Gallery, both of which are only a short distance from Apsara.

Golfers might be interested to know that St. Andrews Golf Club can be found easily reached by taxi away.
