Founded by chef and sister partners, Allyson Hennessy and Rosemary Hezekiah, a trip to the conventional eating-house that is Veni Mange is worth a visit.

Veni Mange

As a Cordon Bleu-trained chef, Allyson Hennessy outlined a creative Creole menu with an unusually scrumptious vegetarian choice of banquet. The authentic dish, callaloo soup, curried crab, oxtail and dumpling stew, West Indian hot pot with a variety of meat cooked in Creole style and vegetable lentil loaf with fruit punch form the main course. To top it with something sweet, pineapple upside-down cake is also prepared to make it a complete meal.

Veni Mange delights Woodbrook with Creole food that's usually a big hit with the whole group. When it comes to dress code and level of service, this restaurant's setting is informal. When is this restaurant option on the table? They're open during both dinner and lunch, so make time to stop by.

Painted in coral tones with louvered windows that help in the ventilation of the ample number of potted plants, Veni Mange is set in decors of a traditional West Indian house.

Veni Mange is found within Woodbrook, toward the center of Port of Spain.
