A display of work created by Marie Frederick can be seen at Indigo, which is located right next to the cottage where she feels inspired to create her work. Although she was born in Normandy and studied art throughout Europe and in North Africa, she has managed to capture something about the nature of the island in her paintings that even locals have been captivated by.

Ms. Frederick's works are made with pen and ink, water color, acrylic paint, and oil pastels -- whatever moves her with regard to a particular piece. When you come and visit, not only will you be able to browse her works, but also purchase some of her fresh juice, rum punch, coffee, and bush teas for you to sip sitting down on a driftwood chair and watch the birds flying over the canopy.
