At 28 square miles, Providenciales is the third largest island of the Turks and Caicos chain.  You can travel from one end of the island to the other and find plenty to keep you busy from museums and historic landmarks, to beaches and parks.  There is even a single casino for those who enjoy playing games of chance.

Beaches

Grace Bay Beach

You'll discover several beaches to choose from on the island. Snorkeling is an option at some locations, for those who enjoy the underwater scene. Just click on the name of each beach for a detailed guide to that section of the coast.

If you are hoping to snorkel, a location with that option is Grace Bay Beach. Grace Bay Beach is often considered one of the best in the Caribbean for its perfect blue waters and powdery white sands, and in 2013, TripAdvisor went so far as to name it the second best beach in the world. The beach reclaimed this title in 2014, proving its consistency.

Another good choice for snorkelers is Blue Haven Beach. Leeward Beach makes up roughly the entire Northeast coast. Following any of the coastal will suffice in finding one of the beach's designated parking areas.
