Not nearly as developed as Grace Bay Beach, nor as secluded as the Northwest Point National Park Beach, the Blue Hills beach is somewhere in the middle – making it popular for people who want a little of both.
Positioned toward the southeastern outskirts of Blue Hills, this beach is on the West-Northwest edge of Providenciales. You should consider dropping by whether or not you're staying particularly close by. You will typically find yourself with plenty of room to stretch out, as the area surrounding the beach is not packed with guests.
The beach is located at the Blue Hills Settlement. Located right off the Millennium Highway northwest of the airport, finding the location is not hard at all. Just keep in mind that the only dedicated parking area for the beach is at the pier.
Even though the main portion of Blue Hills Beach centers around the pier, the coast continues for quite a while. So while there will be some areas that have a few buildings, shops, and restaurants, there will be other portions where there is nothing to see except sand and water. Speaking of sand and water, they can be rocky at times. So, if you plan on exploring a lot of Blue Hills Beach, it is a good idea to bring some shoes or heavy sandals.
You will be able to use a public restroom at Blue Hills Beach.
