Long Bay Beach

The main attractions on Providenciales are the beaches with their stunning sands and waters that are perfect for playing in, and Long Bay Beach offers both. Its seclusion, however, is one of the main attractions.

Situated in Bringamosa, Long Bay Beach is on the East coast of Providenciales. You might want to drop by regardless of whether you're staying in the vicinity. Long Bay Beach stands out because it's perfect for getting away from vacation stresses, like overly crowded restaurants and attractions. Many of the other beaches in Turks and Caicos may be just as pretty, but tend to be busier because they're lined with some of the most famous hotels and restaurants.

How to Access The Beach
You can find Long Bay Beach just one street south of Man of War Road West. A paved, but bumpy road, leads right to the sand.

Amenities and Ambiance

Long Bay Beach is a large stretch of coastline on the south shore, with beautiful white sands and hardly any visitors. The water is warmer on this side and the waves are shallow and calm, providing excellent swimming opportunities.

Even if you plan to dine elsewhere, the snack bar on-site could come in handy. On some days, it may be possible to try local specialties from one of the mobile vendors who set up shop at the beach.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. With most people staying on Grace Bay, Long Bay Beach stays relatively unpopulated, while the length of the shore makes it easy to find a secluded setting.
