West Harbour Bluff

Known more for exotic sightseeing and spots to explore than swimming, West Harbour Bluff is a beach for someone hoping to experience the natural side of Provinciales. Visitors will find caves, large shells, plenty of wildlife, and even carvings from sailors who shipwrecked here in 1842. So come with an adventurous spirit and explore the secluded beach.

Positioned on the island of Providenciales, 6.2 miles south west of Blue Hills, You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you are staying in the immediate vicinity. Travelers in search of a tranquil, secluded setting shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit West Harbour Bluff.

How to Access The Beach

Probably the main reason this beach is so secluded, you will have to go out of your way to spend a day at West Harbour Bluff. Located on the extreme Southwest of the island, you will need a rental car or taxi to reach it. If you do decide to make the journey, your best bet is to head west out from Grace Bay, along the Leeway Highway. When you come to the roundabout that leads to the airport, make sure to turn right onto Millenium Highway, towards the Northwest. You will travel along this road for about 3 and a half miles, and then turn left onto the paved road that takes you right to the beach. It is easy to get lost, so make sure to have a map or GPS and a full tank of gas before heading out.

Amenities and Ambiance

West Harbour Bluff is not your tropical lush sandy beach. You can expect to see a rocky beach ladden with seashells. There are some sandy potions of the beach, but they are in the minority. Luckily, you will rarely have to compete for them at this rarely visited beach.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site.

West Harbour Bluff grants an idyllic and tranquil environment, due to the fact that the surrounding area is more rural than urban.
