Built in 1976, this golf course in the Dominican Republic has become an established and respected place to play a round of golf. Robert Trent Jones is the designer of the golf course. The golf course features a course rating of 71.2, and its 18 holes stretch out a length of 6309 yards.

The course is on the northern coast, and it makes its way out to the ocean on several holes. Water plays a big role here, even when it's not the ocean. A number of lakes make their presence known, and large, wide trees are scattered throughout.

Policies and Fees

From May to October, 9 holes is $35, while 18 is $60. Packages for multiple rounds are available, and twilight golfing is a possibility for $40. From November to April, 9 holes is $50 and 18 is $75. No matter the time of year, clubs can be rented for $15-20 and a cart for $15-25. Club and cart prices depend on whether you are playing 9 or 18 holes.

Playa Dorada Golf Course accepts most major credit cards.

Caddies must be used at this course. Prices are $8 for 9 holes, and $15 for 18. Tipping is recommended, but not required.
