Cerro de Punta

The highest point in Puerto Rico reaches 4,390 feet above sea level and is called Cerro de Punta. It is located in Ponce, and differs from most highest peaks in the Caribbean because it is strictly a mountain and not volcanic in origin.

The most beautiful view in the island is said to be seen from the top of Cerro de punta, where on a clear day, you can see as far as San Juan which is 75 miles away.


Located on the island of Puerto Rico, 11.4 miles north of Ponce, Cerro de Punta invites local residents and tourists who are rooming on this part of the island. Regardless of whether or not you're staying in the vicinity, you are free to stop by to enjoy a great time. It is 10.0 miles southeast of Utuado.
